  • Mostly, all you need to install your zip line

    Jocelyn Cloutier 06/03/2017

This kit was mostly perfect for me. It had all the required tools to install my rogue zip lines (2x300 feet and one 400 feet) except noted below. The kit gave me peace mind by being certain that I would have everything I needed to install my zip lines. The tensioning kit is particularly clever and required for longer zip lines.

Two things did not work so well for me:
1- sight level: I could not get an accurate read for trees located 300 feet apart. I recommend looking for a more "professional" equipment for long distance between your anchor points. I got myself a Bosch GOL 32CK 32x Optical Level Kit ($294 on amazon).

2- torque wrench: it was difficult for me to get the proper tension on the bolt of the clamps. I used a cheaper (with longer handle) torque wrench to get the proper tension, and then the higher quality torque wrench (from the kit) to validate measurement.
